The Position
We are looking for a highly competent and proactive professional to manage a claims portfolio in regards to all workers compensation claims – end to end and ensure that they are compliant with Injury Management and Rehabilitation Policy and related procedures.
The Person
· Proven strong communication skills at all levels
· Proven experience and ability to work autonomously and as a self starter
· Will have a high attention to detail and good corporate awareness
· Will be hands on in your work ethics and capable of working well under pressure and multi tasking in a busy environment.
· Experience in multi site operations, insurance and a private corporation background would be highly advantageous.
· You will be Degree Qualified and with Workers Compensation Insurance claims management or occupational rehabilitation experience minimum 2-3yrs.
· Ideally you will have an accredited Return to Work Co-ordinator certificate
Commercial focus
· Strong attention to early intervention strategies
· Coordinate and monitor treatment, rehabilitation services and RTW Plans to ensure a safe and timely return to work in consultation with all parties involved in the process.
· Consistently ensure claims documentation is correct and to a high standard of accuracy.
· Create initiatives and programs focused on reduction of injury claims, workers compensation premiums and claim minimization both in process and cost.
· Establish and maintain productive and hands on relationships with all external providers and treating practitioners
· Provide regular, thorough and accurate reporting to the Management.
· The ideal candidate for this role will have had significant exposure and understanding of Victorian Workcover legislation
