The fixed hours of work include working alternate Saturdays but having every 2nd Monday off to deal with all those important things in life that are not work related. So basically every fortnight you will enjoy a 3 day weekend! Working for a family business where you are truly an important part of the business is very different to being treated like just another number in a large organisation, and over time, you will get to know many of the loyal and regular customers by name - rather than dealing with the faceless, nameless traffic that working in retail can sometimes involve. You will work directly with the Store Manager, displaying and selling a huge product range of numismatic items (rare coins, banknotes and collectables) and unless you are already involved as a collector, this will probably open up a whole new world for you to learn about. You will preferably have previous experience in retail sales - particularly with high value items, strong security awareness, proven numeracy and cash handling skills and a commitment to true customer service. To really flourish in this role you will need maturity, an ability and willingness to learn, flexibility, common sense and a commitment to old fashioned values such as courtesy and respect.
