The role
Based in our Support Centre in Richmond, as the Online Marketing and Mail Order Manager your objective in this role is to create and execute the digital strategy including business development, online marketing campaigns, organic and paid search, e-mail marketing and operations for the division; in addition to growing the Mail Order / Phone Sales channel. This position will enable you to make a significant contribution to the growth of the Cosmetics Cubed business and the success of the company.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the COO and MD, your main responsibilities as the Online Marketing and Mail Order Manager are to:
· Manage the company’s 2 e-commerce sites — drive sales, ROI, strategy, creative direction, written and visual content, on-and off-line marketing, enhancements, functionality.
· Maintain the online marketing plan to integrate offline marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, customer communications, promotions, product launches, content and special offers to the online environment.
· Work with Web Agency to oversee the technical development, programming, maintenance and analytics of the site to ensure each website is maximizing key online trends, up to date technology applications and meeting customer needs.
· Recommend, develop and execute stand alone online marketing strategies to build each website as a key online beauty destination including SEO/SEM, newsletters, e-blasts, podcasts, online promotions, blogs and interactive tools that enhance the user experience.
· Manage and mentor a team of 5 staff, including an Online Marketing Assistant and 4 person customer service/phone sales/website fulfillment team
· Oversee the outbound Phone/Mail Order business for both brands, setting sales targets, motivating the sales team, developing ideas for outbound campaigns.
Your Experience
To secure this role, you will be degree qualified in Marketing or Business-related field. You will have 5 years of creative, strategic and online marketing experience, specifically with e-commerce, e-marketing and management of online revenues for consumer goods. You will have knowledge of ecommerce technology and best practices and will have the proven ability to develop effective working relationships with internal departments, external agencies and business partners. Your high degree of personal integrity and strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced, flexible, team-based environment together with your sophisticated leadership and organizational skills will secure this role. A passion for beauty / fashion will be highly regarded.
